HAM opens its first Gas Station in Asturias

HAM Group opens its first service station in Noreña (Asturias), supplying compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG)

The new service station allows to supply liquefied natural gas (LNG) and compressed natural gas (CNG) to trucks and vehicles

HAM GROUP has opened its first service station in the autonomous community of Asturias. It is located in the Matadero Central of Asturias, on Oviedo Avenue, in the town of Noreña, less than 500 meters from the N-634, an important land route that crosses the autonomous communities of the Basque Country, Cantabria, Asturias and Galicia. ; through which circulates a significant amount of vehicles that can now refuel compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG). In addition, it is located a short distance from the A-64, known as the Oviedo-Villaviciosa highway.

The new service station opened by HAM makes available to all users a liquefied natural gas (LNG) pump for trucks and double compressed natural gas (CNG) pump for trucks and light vehicles. The innovative dual-fuel system of CNG allows refueling two CNG vehicles in a single pump.

This natural gas supply station in Noreña, Asturias, is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Customers can refuel with the and with any credit or debit card.

With the opening of this new service station in Noreña, HAM currently has 36 service stations that are distributed throughout the national territory and the rest of Europe. We continue betting on the use of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and compressed natural gas (CNG) as an alternative fuel, which minimizes the negative impact on the environment, as it is a clean and sustainable fuel. The use of natural gas as a fuel reduces the emission of nitrous oxides, sulfur oxides and fine particles that affect air quality; besides allowing a saving of 30-50% with respect to the use of fossil fuels, petroleum derivatives, which are much more polluting.

In 2000 Grupo HAM opened its first liquefied natural gas service station and today we are one of the companies with the most experience in the natural gas vehicle (NGV) sector and we have become a benchmark for the rest of the companies in the sector that opt for liquefied natural gas (LNG) and compressed natural gas (CNG) as an alternative to fuels such as gasoline and diesel.

In Grupo HAM, and the rest of our subsidiaries, we work daily to offer a better service to all our customers and to expand our network of LNG and CNG service stations throughout Europe. We have several projects to open new liquefied natural gas and compressed natural gas service stations throughout 2019 in different parts of Spain and Europe.
